Dunellen Education Foundation Announces It is with great pleasure that the Dunellen Education Foundation announces its 2008 grant award recipients. “There were many applicants this year, and the DEF would like to thank everyone who made the time and effort to send in their proposals,” said foundation president Milhan Fishman. “We appreciate all of the hard work involved and wish we could fund everything that comes our way.” This year’s recipients were chosen based not only on their alignment with the DEF mission statement, but on their creativity, thoughtfulness, and the thoroughness of their proposals. The DEF is excited to be funding these programs, and feels they will enhance the educational experience for all involved. This year’s recipients are: · SAT Prep Course for DHS Sophomores – Gene Mosley · LP to CD Conversion – Keith Boyle/Mary Ann Greczek · Career Interest Inventories for Freshmen & Sophomores – Al Trafford · Improving Student Understanding of Biotechnology – Jayne Ricciardi · Destination ImagiNation – Loretta Kumpf This year’s grants total $7,700. |
