On Wednesday, June 8th,
the seventh grade held its annual exposition. Family and friends
gathered to see what students had learned in this year’s
interdisciplinary unit, “Space Exploration – Past, Present, and
Future”. Students displayed proposals of what a colony on Mars
might look like someday along with brochures that advertised many of
the attractions on their colony. A timeline of the history of
exploration filled the walls allowing people to trace our
exploration of space starting from the 1950’s and into the future.
Students also presented how much people would weigh on the different
planets.
Family
and friends were encouraged to ask students questions on what they
had learned about space colonization and its possibility someday. |
