Bosnians
Visit LMS ESL Classes
On Wednesday, May 21, 2008, Coleen Tyler's ESL classes at the middle school
had two visitors. Dr. Peter Kahn is involved in the Bosnian Student Project
which brings students from Bosnia to the US to continue their education at
Rutgers. The other visitor, Ms. Bojana Blagojevic, is a survivor of the Bosnian
war and also one of the students the project has helped. They shared their
experiences with the ESL classes and answered the student's questions. The
students have been studying Bosnia so this was a very interesting experience for
them.
