Three Receive Awards for Diversity Essays

On March 17th, Angel Denis, First Vice President of Multi Cultural Banking for Provident Bank, spoke to students at Dunellen High School about various issues ranging from establishing goals, continuing their education, and addressing issues of diversity in society. At the conclusion of his presentation he offered an opportunity for students at Dunellen to enter an essay contest centered on the topic of diversity and society. The three winning essays were:

First Place: Angela Rivera
Second Place: Julian Toro
Third Place: Ingrid Ayala

In addition to a $50.00 American Express gift card and a certificate of recognition, the first place essay is going to be published in the Provident Bank company newsletter.

The second and third place winners received MP3 players and a certificate of recognition.
