Congratulations to the DHS Marching Band for its win at the
Somerville Band Festival on Saturday, September 27, 2008. The
awards included:

Held after Campaigning
After a week of student campaigning, including
posters festooning the walls of the high school and word-of-mouth
soliciting around the halls and lunchroom, Student Council Election Week
culminated in a student wide assembly . . .
Soldier recalls stories of war to Dunellen students
DUNELLEN — Borough high school students heard a first-hand
account of the grim and the heartening moments of life at
war Thursday, as a local Iraq veteran told his story to an
auditorium of juniors and seniors. . .
Two new courses were recently approved by
the Board of Education and have been listed in the Program
of studies for the next school year. These courses are Music
Theory, and Human Anatomy and Physiology.

On Wednesday, October 25, Dunellen High School
hosted the Central Jersey College Fair in the high school gymnasium.
Schools from throughout Middlesex County attend the fair which ran from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Representatives from
55-60 colleges were present. All Dunellen High
School juniors and seniors attended with their teachers beginning at 11:00 A.M.
and met with the college reps. (Watch for pictures)
