Dear Parents and Guardians,

Dunellen High School will be administering NJSLA in English to 9th graders and Science to 11th graders on Tuesday, April 29 and Wednesday, April 30, during the regular school day, from 7:40 am - 10:00 am.

Students need to be to school on time with their fully-charged Chromebook.

Students in Grade 9 are required to take the New Jersey Student Learning Assessments (NJSLA) assessments that measure student proficiency with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards in English Language Arts (ELA).   Students in Grade 11 are required to take the NJSLA Science component. 

The NJSLA assessments are computer-based tests and will have a full menu of accommodations available, similar to other state assessments. 

Please ensure your child attends school on time with a fully charged Chromebook.
