The DHS Homework Help Center is now open and will run after school, from 2:45 - 3:45 pm, and every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the DHS Tech Center. Students can come to get extra help from teachers with their school work or just sit and have a quiet place to get things done. We encourage students to attend so that they have fewer or no assignments to do when they get home.

Away All Day: We remind parents and students that there is no use of internet-connected devices during the school day. Students are not to use cell phones, headphones, earbuds, smart watches, smart glasses, and tablets. While most students have followed the new rules, some have needed reminders and have received consequences for their actions.

Attention Winter Athletes: Any student looking to participate in basketball, wrestling, or track this winter, be sure to complete the necessary forms in order to be eligible. For more information, please visit the DHS Athletics website: DHS Athletics

Academic Corner: From the desk of Ms. Powell

Students in Mr. Valenzuela's Introduction to Discrete Math put their knowledge of voting methods, including ranked-choice voting, to the test! Through a fun, hands-on classroom election, students ranked their favorite cereals and applied mathematical concepts to determine the ultimate cereal champion!

Ms. Piano’s Choir classes are getting into the holiday spirit as they rehearse for their upcoming Winter Concert! Students are fine-tuning their harmonies and preparing to spread some musical cheer. Adding a personal touch, Period 7 students even selected their own choral piece to perform! We can’t wait to hear their hard work come to life on stage!
