Junior SAT Review Course

Registration is now open for the Junior SAT Review Course.

The classes will begin on Tuesday, February 17^th  and run for ten (10) weeks.

ending on April 28^th in preparation of the May 2^nd SAT test.  The class meets twice a week.  The classes are either from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.  

Most of the classes will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays; three classes will be held on Tuesday, February 17th and March 10th and April 28th due to the Monday school closing.  The cost of the class will be $125.00. Twenty-five ($25.00) will be for books and materials.  Up to one hundred dollars ($100.00) will be refundable if your child attends ALL sessions AND takes the SAT on May 2nd. Refunds will be calculated once we receive confirmation that the exam was taken.

In order to plan for this course, please register by January 16, 2026 by way of the Google Form Registration Form .   

Payment Options: 

1. Checks (made out to the Dunellen Board of Education) or cash can be dropped off to the DHS guidance Office or  Main Office  in an envelope marked “SAT Prep Course” and the student's name.  

2.  Click on the link Online Payment Portal  to pay through payschools.  If you are the parent of an 11th grader, you will have an optional payment field called “SAT Course 2026” where you can pay via credit card.  (credit card fee may apply) 

SAT scores are an important component to college admissions and juniors should take advantage of this excellent program.  Instruction will be given in math skills, verbal topics and test taking skills. 

In order to qualify for a full refund, your child MUST attend ALL the classes and take the May 2nd  administration of the SAT.

Como muchos de ustedes saben, la Escuela Secundaria de Dunellen patrocina un Curso de Preparación para el SAT para todos los estudiantes de undécimo grado interesados. Nuestro curso de preparación para el SAT comenzará el martes 18 de febrero y se extenderá durante diez (10) semanas. Las clases se llevarán a cabo los lunes y miércoles (con la excepción de tres clases que se llevará a cabo el martes 17 de febrero y 10 de marzo y 28 de abril debido al feriado del lunes). Los horarios de clase son de 3:30 p.m. a 5:00 p.m. o de 7:30 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. Además, habrá 4 exámenes prácticos los sábados.

El costo del curso será de $125.00. Veinticinco dólares ($25.00) serán para libros y materiales. Cien dólares ($100.00) serán reembolsables si su hijo asiste a todas las sesiones y realiza el SAT el 2 de mayo. Adjunto encontrará el horario que se seguirá.

Para planificar este curso, le solicitamos que se registre antes del 16 de enero de 2026, completando el Formulario de Registro. 

Para Pagos: 1. Entrege un cheque (o efectivo) por $125.00 a nombre de "Dunellen Board of Education" El cheque debe entregarse en la Oficina Principal de Dunellen High School o a la oficina de  consejería, en un sobre marcado como "Clase de Preparación para el SAT" con el nombre de su hijo en el cheque y sobre. o 2. Haga clic en el enlace Pay Schools Central para pagar a través de payschools. Si es padre de un estudiante de 11.º grado, tendrá una opcion de pago llamado “SAT Course 2026” donde puede pagar con tarjeta de crédito. (se aplicará una tarifa por tarjeta de crédito)

Las puntuaciones del SAT son un componente importante para la admisión a la universidad y les insto a aprovechar este excelente programa. Se brindará instrucción en matemáticas, temas verbales y técnicas para tomar el examen.
