Dunellen High School is offering an exciting class that has storytelling, learning and craft activities as everyday events. The course is Education for Parenthood, where the students are the teachers!! It is an accredited course taught during third and fourth periods at the high school.
The purpose of the course is to educate students in effective parenting skills. High school students work with Preschool age children form age 2 - 5 two days a week. Wednesdays and Fridays (9:20-10:45) From October to June. There is a critical need for a stronger emphasis on parenting education. The high school students plan, run, and evaluate the entire program. The year ends with a graduation ceremony.
